This form is to be filed when a married couple agrees to designate percentage shares of the homestead assessment difference (Save Our Homes Cap). Homestead exemption applications may now be filed online! To qualify for homestead, you must meet the residency requirements and fill out a form from the Property Appraiser's office. A homesteaded property is one that you own as your primary residence. You can file for the exemption with the county where your property is located either in person, online or via mail.
