Prior to writing claim answer these questions: • What is the invention? • What are the pieces and parts that make up the invention?The process of patent searching, drafting a patent application, developing a product proposal, presenting the idea to manufacturers, negotiating, etc. The specification, including the abstract and claims, must have lines that are 1.5 or doublespaced in a single column of text. The drawings filed must be clear and complete. The drawings should include sufficient views to represent the complete concept. A complete, comprehensive written description of the invention is needed. Formal drawings are not required. This presentation is on the "Basics of Specification Drafting" for Patents.
