Use Form I9 to verify the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States. The I9 form is a federal document that verifies an employee's identity and US work authorization. The State of Florida has enacted new requirements for mandatory use of EVerify and expanded I9 documentation requirements for private and public employers. The person that examines the original, unexpired documents in the presence of the employee MUST fill out, sign and date Section 2.
