An overpayment may occur when a claimant is paid unemployment insurance benefits and is later found to not be eligible for those benefits. The client will have 30 days from the date of the Overpayment letter to submit the request and supporting documents.To do this, fill out the Request for Change in Overpayment Recovery Rate form. (FCRC) Use ACM to complete Form 2404, Referral of Overpayment, and Form 2404X, Notice of Overpayment.
