Domicile is more permanent and is essentially somebody's home base.An affidavit of domicile is a sworn statement signed before a notary public establishing the legal domicile of someone who has died. "State of legal residence" (SLR) and "domicile" mean the same thing, namely your true, fixed, and permanent abode.
