1.) CALL 800-449-7587 TO REQUEST A COLLECTION: When you call the Collection Hotline, you will be asked several questions including your address, the type, and amount of materials available for collection.
Paint (empty or mostly empty): The paint will dry in a few days. Once dry, the can may be thrown in your trash.
When you dispose of these products, they become “household hazardous waste,” or HHW. These wastes may cause harm to human health and the environment if you handle or dispose of these products incorrectly. You must bring your HHW to a household hazardous waste facility (HHWF).
