The District of Columbia General Forms (Con)-General Forms (TRP)-Notice of Registration is a form used by businesses to register with the district government in order to legally operate in the district. This form is divided into two parts: the General Forms (Con) and the General Forms (TRP). The General Forms (Con) are used to register a business with the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DORA). This includes registering a trade name, obtaining a business license, and filing a business registration form. The General Forms (TRP) are used to register a business with the District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue (OR). This includes filing a business license tax return, registering for a sales and use tax permit, and filing a personal property tax return. The Notice of Registration is used to inform the DORA and OR that the business is in compliance with all requirements for registration and that the business is now in good standing with the district government.
