Hawaii Notice of Appeal and Statement of Election is a legal document that is used to appeal a decision made by a lower court in the state of Hawaii. It is a notice of intent to appeal a judgment, order, or decree of a lower court to the Supreme Court of Hawaii. It must be filed within 30 days of the entry of the lower court’s decision. The Notice of Appeal and Statement of Election includes the name of the lower court, the case number, and the date the decision was entered. It must also include a statement of the issues the appellant wishes to raise on appeal, as well as a statement of election as to how the appellant wishes to proceed with the appeal. There are two types of Hawaii Notice of Appeal and Statement of Election: a Notice of Appeal and Statement of Election for an appeal to the Supreme Court of Hawaii, and a Notice of Appeal and Statement of Election for an appeal to the Intermediate Court of Appeals of Hawaii.
