The Rhode Island Non Profit Producers Cooperative Association (RIPPED) is a member-owned business alliance of independent nonprofit organizations in Rhode Island. The mission of RIPPED is to foster collaboration and shared resources among its members, enabling them to work together to strengthen their collective impact on Rhode Island’s communities. The Association’s members are engaged in a variety of non-profit activities, including social service, economic development, environmental stewardship, education and the arts. RIPPED provides a number of services to its members, including access to shared resources, assistance with grant writing, technical support and consulting services. The Association also offers trainings and workshops to help members increase their effectiveness and further their mission. RIPPED also provides members with educational materials and information on current issues and trends in the nonprofit sector. There are three types of RIPPED members: Producer Members (nonprofit organizations engaged in the production of goods or services), Associate Members (nonprofits that provide services to Producer Members), and Affiliate Members (organizations that provide goods or services to the nonprofit sector). All members have an equal voice and vote in the organization's decision-making process.
