The Alaska Statement of Conversion — Domestic Entity without AK Entity Number Converting to Foreign Business Corporation is a document used to convert a domestic entity without an Alaska entity number into a foreign business corporation. There are two types of Alaska Statements of Conversion — Domestic Entity without AK Entity Number Converting to Foreign Business Corporation: Type 1 and Type 2. Type 1 is used when the domestic entity has never registered with the Alaska Division of Corporations, Business & Professional Licensing, while Type 2 is used when the domestic entity has registered with the Alaska Division of Corporations, Business & Professional Licensing. Both versions require the submission of certain documents, such as the Statement of Conversion and supporting documentation such as a Certificate of Good Standing from the domestic entity's state of formation. Upon approval, the foreign business corporation's name and business address will be registered with the Alaska Division of Corporations, Business & Professional Licensing.
