An Alaska Statement of Domestication — Foreign LLC with AK Entity Number Domesticating to Domestic LLC is a document filed with the Alaska Division of Corporations, Business & Professional Licensing to convert a foreign LLC (which was formed in a different state) into an LLC registered in Alaska. It is also known as a Certificate of Conversion. This document must include the Alaska Entity Number, the name of the foreign LLC, the jurisdiction in which the foreign LLC was formed, and the effective date of the conversion. Additionally, the Statement of Domestication must be signed by an authorized representative of the foreign LLC. There are two types of Alaska Statement of Domestication — Foreign LLC with AK Entity Number Domesticating to Domestic LLC: Restated Articles of Organization and an Amended and Restated Articles of Organization.
