Alaska Articles of Merger of Domestic Nonprofit Corporation is a legal document filed with the Alaska Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing to merge two or more Domestic Nonprofit Corporations into a single entity. The Articles of Merger must be filed with the Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing and include the names and addresses of the Domestic Nonprofit Corporations involved in the merger, the name and address of the Domestic Nonprofit Corporation resulting from the merger, the effective date of the merger, and the signature of the authorized representative of the merging Domestic Nonprofit Corporations. There are two types of Alaska Articles of Merger of Domestic Nonprofit Corporation: Short Form and Long Form. The Short Form is used when the Domestic Nonprofit Corporations involved in the merger are in good standing with the Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing, and the Long Form is used when any of the Domestic Nonprofit Corporations involved in the merger are not in good standing.
