Alaska Motion to Vacate is a form used to ask the court to vacate a judgment or order in a case. A Motion to Vacate can be used for a variety of purposes, such as requesting a new trial, setting aside a default judgment, or vacating a guilty plea. There are three types of Alaska Motion to Vacate: (1) Motion to Vacate Default Judgment, (2) Motion to Vacate Plea Agreement, and (3) Motion to Vacate Final Order or Judgment. A Motion to Vacate Default Judgment is used to ask the court to set aside a judgment entered against a party when that party did not appear in court or respond to the complaint. A Motion to Vacate Plea Agreement is used to ask the court to set aside a plea agreement entered into by the defendant and the prosecution. Finally, a Motion to Vacate Final Order or Judgment is used to ask the court to set aside a final order or judgment issued by the court. The form must be completed and filed with the court in order to be considered.
