The Alaska Petition for Order Authorizing Disposition of Unclaimed Body, also known as Form 9P, is used by individuals to petition the court for an order authorizing the disposition of a body that has gone unclaimed. This form is used when the deceased individual has not known next of kin or other representative that can take custody of the body.
