Alaska Notice of Motion & Response is a type of legal document used for providing notice of a motion or response to the court. Generally, the filing party is required to provide a Notice of Motion & Response to the other litigants in the case. This document informs the other parties of the type of motion and/or response that has been filed and the date and time that the motion/response will be heard. The two most common types of Alaska Notice of Motion & Response are: Notice of Motion and Notice of Response. Notice of Motion is used when a party is requesting a specific action by the court, such as a court order or ruling. Notice of Response is used when a party is responding to a motion filed by another party. In addition, some courts may require a Certificate of Service to be included with the Alaska Notice of Motion & Response. This document certifies that the Notice was served to the other parties in the case.
