Alaska TF-200 (Anchorage) is a multi-purpose, heavy-lift helicopter manufactured by Bell Helicopter. It is a twin-engine craft with a maximum takeoff weight of 42,000 pounds. The aircraft is used primarily for firefighting, search and rescue, medical evacuation, law enforcement, and military operations. It is the only helicopter in its class capable of lifting a 20,000-pound load. It is equipped with two Rolls-Royce engines, a four-bladed main rotor, and a two-bladed tail rotor. Furthermore, it can carry up to 16 personnel and has a range of approximately 450 miles. There are two types of Alaska TF-200 (Anchorage): the TF-200A and the TF-200B. The TF-200A is the standard version of the aircraft, while the TF-200B is an upgraded version with enhanced performance capabilities. Both versions are powered by two Pratt & Whitney PT6A-67F engines.
