Alaska DL-130 (Anchorage) is a type of driver’s license issued by the Alaska State Division of Motor Vehicles. The DL-130 is the standard driver's license issued to those who are at least 21 years of age, as well as those who are between 14 and 20 years of age who have completed a driver's education course. It is a valid form of identification and allows the holder to legally drive in Alaska. The DL-130 comes in three varieties: the regular license, the Enhanced Security Driver's License (ESL), and the Enhanced Security Identification Card (ESD). The regular license is a regular driver's license with the expiration date located on the back. The ESL is a driver's license with additional security features such as biometric identification and a microchip. The ESD is an identification card that can be used for identification purposes, but does not allow the holder to drive.
