The Alaska Court Visitor's Report on Review is a form issued by the Alaska court system and completed by court-appointed visitors who have conducted an interview with a parent or guardian of a child in a juvenile court or family court case. The report assesses the parent/guardian's ability to care for the child and provides information and recommendations for the court. The report may also include an evaluation of the parent/guardian's mental and emotional stability, substance abuse issues, parenting skills, and other relevant factors. There are two types of Alaska Court Visitor's Report on Review: the Summary Report and the Comprehensive Report. The Summary Report is a short form that provides a brief overview of the visitor's findings, while the Comprehensive Report includes detailed information about the parent/guardian's background, behaviors, and recommendations.
