The Alaska Prisoner IFP Form, also known as the Inmate Financial Plan, is a document used by the Alaska Department of Corrections to assist inmates in managing their finances. The form is used to set up a budget for the inmate's expenses and to plan for the inmate's financial future. The form is divided into two parts: the Personal Financial Plan and the Inmate Financial Account. The Personal Financial Plan helps inmates to set up a budget and plan for their future expenses, such as rent, food, clothing, medical expenses, and transportation. The Inmate Financial Account allows inmates to deposit funds into an account managed by the Alaska Department of Corrections, which can be used to pay for any of the expenses listed in the Personal Financial Plan. There are two types of Alaska Prisoner IFP Forms: the Standard Form and the Basic Form. The Standard Form includes more detailed information and is the preferred form for most inmates. The Basic Form is a simplified version of the form that is easier to fill out and provides a basic outline of expenses and income.
