Alaska Articles of Consolidation (Domestic Business Corporation) refers to documents filed with the Alaska Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development, Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing (DICED) to legally combine two or more domestic business corporations into one business entity. The Articles of Consolidation must include the following information: the name of the surviving corporation and the names of the corporations being merged; the surviving corporation’s jurisdiction of incorporation; the plan of consolidation; the date of filing; and the signatures of the officers of each corporation. There are two types of Alaska Articles of Consolidation (Domestic Business Corporation): Statutory Consolidation and Non-Statutory Consolidation. Statutory Consolidation is when two or more domestic business corporations merge into a single entity, while Non-Statutory Consolidation is when one or more domestic business corporations merge with another domestic or foreign business entity.
