The Alaska Certificate of Correction (All Entity Types) is a document that is used to correct errors in a business’s legal documents, such as articles of incorporation, limited liability company (LLC) certificates, and limited partnership certificates. There are three different types of Alaska Certificates of Correction: for corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships. The Certificate of Correction can be used to correct errors in the articles of incorporation, LLC certificates, and limited partnership certificates, such as a misspelled name, incorrect address, or incorrect date. The Certificate of Correction must be signed by an officer of the entity and must be accompanied by a filing fee. After the Certificate of Correction is approved by the Alaska Division of Corporations, Business, and Professional Licensing, the corrected documents will be issued and the original documents will be replaced.
