The Alaska Child Support Income Averaging Affidavit, SHC-1210, is a legal document used in the state of Alaska to adjust the amount of child support paid by a non-custodial parent. This document allows the non-custodial parent to provide evidence of their income over the last three years in order to adjust the amount of child support paid. The affidavit must be completed by both parents and is commonly used when there has been a change in the non-custodial parent’s income or when the non-custodial parent has multiple sources of income. There are two types of Alaska Child Support Income Averaging Affidavit, SHC-1210: the initial affidavit and the subsequent affidavit. The initial affidavit is used when the non-custodial parent is filing for the first time and the subsequent affidavit is used when the non-custodial parent is filing to adjust their child support payments.
