Alaska Electronic Delivery of Case Documents (AE DCD) is an electronic filing system that allows court documents to be transmitted electronically to parties involved in a case. It enables attorneys, parties, and other court users to securely submit and receive court documents electronically. AE DCD supports the filing of all types of court documents, including pleadings, motions, orders, briefs, and other documents. The AE DCD system includes three different types of electronic delivery services. The Express Delivery service allows attorneys to submit documents electronically to the court with a guaranteed delivery date and time. The Standard Delivery service allows attorneys to submit documents electronically to the court with a delivery date that is within two business days. The Bulk Delivery service allows attorneys to submit large batches of documents electronically to the court with a delivery date that is within two business days. All documents submitted through AE DCD are subject to the same filing fees and deadlines as paper documents.
