The Alaska Notice of Dismissal by Prosecution or Prosecution's Representative is a document issued by a prosecutor or their representative in Alaska when criminal charges are dropped against an individual. This document serves as official notice to the government that the accused will no longer be prosecuted for said crime. It is also known as a Notice of Noble Prose or Noble Pros's. There are two types of Alaska Notices of Dismissal by Prosecution or Prosecution's Representative. The first is the Notice of Dismissal Noblele Prosequi, which is issued when the prosecution decides to drop all charges against the individual accused. The second is the Notice of Dismissal Noblele Pross, which is issued when the prosecution decides to drop some charges against an individual while still pursuing other charges. Both types of Alaska Notice of Dismissal by Prosecution or Prosecution's Representative must include the following information: the case number, the name of the accused, the name of the prosecutor or prosecution representative, the date the notice was issued, the specific charges that are dropped, and a signature from the prosecutor or prosecution representative.
