Alabama Emergency Care (AEC) is a state-wide network of emergency medical services (EMS) professionals and facilities that provide emergency care to the citizens of Alabama. AEC comprises a network of hospitals, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics, and other healthcare professionals. AEC provides 24/7 emergency care to those in need, including ambulance transport to hospitals, emergency medical services (EMS) personnel, and the provision of emergency medical treatments. AEC also provides access to specialty care, such as burn treatment, trauma care, stroke care, and cardiac care. The types of Alabama Emergency Care include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT). AEC also provides education and training opportunities for healthcare professionals to help ensure that they are up-to-date on the latest medical protocols and treatments.
