Alabama Administrative Order- Intake Officers for the Juvenile Court are responsible for receiving and processing juvenile court cases and providing support services for youth and families. The primary duties of an Alabama Administrative Order- Intake Officer include assessing cases, screening referrals, and providing referrals to appropriate resources. Additionally, Intake Officers are responsible for providing case management services, entering data into the Alabama Juvenile Justice Information System (HAJJIS), and working with juvenile probation officers to ensure the appropriate placement of youth. There are two types of Alabama Administrative Order- Intake Officers for the Juvenile Court: Intake Officers and Supervising Intake Officers. Intake Officers are responsible for receiving and processing juvenile court referrals and providing support services for youth and families. Supervising Intake Officers are responsible for supervising all Intake Officers and ensuring that policies and procedures related to the intake of cases are followed. They also provide training and technical assistance to Intake Officers.
