An Affidavit of Alabama Immigration Compliance — Subcontractor is a legal document that must be completed by subcontractors hired to work on a project in the state of Alabama. The Affidavit serves as a sworn statement that the subcontractor is in full compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, including the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRA). It is required by the Alabama Department of Labor when subcontractors are hired on public works projects. There are two types of Affidavit of Alabama Immigration Compliance — Subcontractor: the Employee Affidavit for Subcontractors and the Employer Affidavit for Subcontractors.
