Alabama Domestic LL LP Restated Certificate of Limited Partnership (also known as a Restated Certificate of Formation) is a legal document that is required to be filed with the Alabama Secretary of State's office when a Limited Liability Limited Partnership (LL LP) wishes to make changes to its existing Certificate of Limited Partnership. This document is used to alter the original Certificate of Limited Partnership, and allows the LL LP to update any changes in the structure of the business, such as the addition of a new partner, the addition of a new manager, the change of the registered agent, or any other modification to the existing certificate. There are two types of Alabama Domestic LL LP Restated Certificate of Limited Partnership: the Standard Restated Certificate of Limited Partnership and the Simplified Restated Certificate of Limited Partnership. The Standard Restated Certificate of Limited Partnership is more comprehensive and requires more detailed information to be included, while the Simplified Restated Certificate of Limited Partnership is less detailed and only requires the essential information.
