Alabama West{TS-20} is the official state test of Alabama for assessing student performance in reading, writing, mathematics, and science. It is an annual assessment that is administered to students in grades 3-8 and 10th grade. The test consists of three sections: a multiple-choice section, a technology-enhanced section, and an open-ended response section. The multiple-choice section includes questions on reading, writing, mathematics, and science. The technology-enhanced section includes questions that require students to use technology, such as select-all-that-apply and drag-and-drop questions. The open-ended response section includes questions that ask students to explain their answers. There are two types of Alabama West{TS-20}: the online version and the paper version. Both versions include the same content, however, the online version provides students with immediate feedback on their answers.
