The Arkansas Order/Notice to Withhold Income for Child Support; Notice of an Order to Withhold Income for Child Support (NEW) is an official document issued by the State of Arkansas that requires employers to withhold a portion of an employee's wages for child support payments. This order is issued in accordance with Arkansas Code Annotated 9-14-237, and is used to enforce the payment of child support when one parent is delinquent in making payments. There are two types of Arkansas Order/Notice to Withhold Income for Child Support; Notice of an Order to Withhold Income for Child Support (NEW): 1. Arkansas Income Withholding Order--Directs employers to withhold a percentage of the employee's wages for child support payments. 2. Arkansas Notice to Withhold Income--Directs employers to withhold a fixed amount of the employee's wages for child support payments. Both documents must be signed and dated by the court and include the following information: the name of the paying parent, the employee's name, the amount to be withheld, the frequency of withholding, and the employer's name and address. The Arkansas Order/Notice to Withhold Income for Child Support; Notice of an Order to Withhold Income for Child Support (NEW) will also include the date the order was issued, the date it was served, and the name and address of the clerk of court.
