The Arkansas Statement of Qualification of Foreign Limited Liability Partnership (New Code) is a document that is filed with the Arkansas Secretary of State in order to register a foreign limited liability partnership (LLP) in Arkansas. It is required for foreign Laps that wish to transact business in the state. The document includes information such as the name and address of the LLP, the date of formation, the jurisdiction of formation, and the name and address of the registered agent in Arkansas. It must be signed by all members of the LLP. There are two types of Arkansas Statement of Qualification of Foreign Limited Liability Partnership (New Code): 1) Initial Statement of Qualification: This is the document that is filed when the LLP is initially registering with the Arkansas Secretary of State. 2) Amended Statement of Qualification: This document is filed when there are changes to the information contained in the initial statement, such as the name, address, or jurisdiction of formation of the LLP.
