Arkansas Certificate Of Limited Partnership (ACLU) is a legal document issued by the Arkansas Secretary of State that confirms the formation of a Limited Partnership in the state of Arkansas. A Limited Partnership is a form of business structure that has two or more partners, where one partner is liable for the debts of the business, while the other partner is not. The ACLU is required to be filed in order to register a Limited Partnership in Arkansas and must include the name of the partnership, the registered agent's name and address, the names of all partners, and the signature of each partner. There are two types of Arkansas Certificate Of Limited Partnership: the Registration Certificate and the Amendment Certificate. The Registration Certificate is used to register a new Limited Partnership, while the Amendment Certificate is used to make changes to an existing Limited Partnership.
