Arizona Application for Limited Admission (GALA) is an online application process for students who are not eligible to apply for regular admission to the University of Arizona. This application is used to seek admission to limited enrollment programs, such as the Honors College, Arizona College of Pharmacy, and certain majors in the College of Engineering. The GALA consists of two types of applications: the Limited Enrollment Program (LEP) application and the Primary Application. The LEP application is for students applying to limited enrollment programs, such as the Honors College, Arizona College of Pharmacy, and certain majors in the College of Engineering. This application must be submitted to the University of Arizona by the program's published deadline. It requires personal information as well as information about the student's academic record, extracurricular activities, and letters of recommendation. The Primary Application is for students seeking admission to the University of Arizona who are not eligible for regular admission. It requires personal information, a statement of purpose, and an essay. This application must be submitted to the University of Arizona by the published deadline. In addition to the two types of applications, students must also submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, as well as ACT or SAT scores.
