The Arizona Report of Application and/or Order Authorizing Interception of Communications (Federal) is a form issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZ DPS) to federal law enforcement agencies in order to authorize the interception of communications. This form is used to allow federal law enforcement to legally intercept communications between individuals in the state of Arizona. This document is intended to protect the rights of all parties involved and to ensure that any intercepted communications are used in accordance with the law. There are two types of Arizona Report of Application and/or Order Authorizing Interception of Communications (Federal): the Application for Interception of Communications and the Order Authorizing Interception of Communications. The Application for Interception of Communications is the document used to initiate the interception of communications, while the Order Authorizing Interception of Communications is used to finalize the process and authorize the interception. Both documents must be completed and approved by AZ DPS in order for the federal law enforcement agency to legally intercept communications within the state of Arizona.
