Arizona Probation Order Under 18 U.S.C. 3607 is a form of supervised release from prison or jail. The United States Code, 18 U.S.C. 3607, is the federal statute that outlines the general conditions of probation in the state of Arizona. Probation allows an individual to serve their sentence outside of prison or jail, while under the supervision of a probation officer. Generally, probation is used as an alternative to incarceration for certain nonviolent criminal offenses. There are two types of Arizona Probation Order Under 18 U.S.C. 3607: Supervised Probation and Unsupervised Probation. Supervised Probation involves regular meetings with a probation officer and may include additional requirements such as drug or alcohol counseling, community service, or other conditions set by the court. Unsupervised Probation does not require regular meetings with a probation officer and does not involve additional requirements. In both cases, if the individual fails to comply with the conditions set by the court, they may be subject to revocation of their probation and be required to serve their sentence in prison or jail.
