Arizona Guardianship or Conservatorship of Adult Package is a legal process by which a guardian or conservator is appointed by the court to manage the affairs of an incapacitated adult. The package provides the court and the parties involved with the necessary documents for filing the petition, appointing the guardian or conservator, and ongoing legal duties. There are two types of Arizona Guardianship or Conservatorship of Adult Packages available: (1) Guardianship of an Incapacitated Adult and (2) Conservatorship of an Incapacitated Adult. The Guardianship of an Incapacitated Adult package is designed for those who are unable to make decisions and manage their own affairs due to physical or mental incapacity or disability. The Conservatorship of an Incapacitated Adult package is designed for those who are able to make decisions but need assistance in managing their finances. Both packages provide the court and the parties involved with the necessary documents for filing the petition, appointing the guardian or conservator, and ongoing legal duties.
