The Arizona Application To Restore Civil Rights Set Aside Judgment is an application used to restore the civil rights of individuals whose convictions have been set aside or overturned by a court. This application is used for individuals who have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor in Arizona and have had their convictions set aside or overturned by the court. The application must be submitted to the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency (ABEL) for review and consideration. The ABEL will review the application and may grant the individual the restoration of their civil rights. There are two types of Arizona Application To Restore Civil Rights Set Aside Judgment: the Full Restoration and the Limited Restoration. The Full Restoration grants the individual the right to vote, hold public office, serve on a jury, and possess a firearm. The Limited Restoration restores the right to vote and serve on a jury, but does not grant the right to possess a firearm or hold public office.
