Arizona Waiver Of Raft To Delay Or Overturn Court Action Under The Service Members Civil Relief Act is a type of legal protection available to service members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their spouses. It protects them from having court actions taken against them while they are actively serving in the military. This waiver allows service members to delay or overturn civil court actions such as eviction proceedings, debt collection, foreclosure, divorce proceedings, etc. The waiver must be filed with the court prior to the initiation of the court action and will remain in effect until the service member is released from active duty. There are two types of Arizona Waiver Of Raft To Delay Or Overturn Court Action Under The Service Members Civil Relief Act: Temporary Waiver and Permanent Waiver. The Temporary Waiver protects the service member from court action for up to 90 days, and can be renewed by the service member upon request. The Permanent Waiver is more comprehensive and protects service members from court action for the entire duration of their active duty service.
