The California Memorandum of Costs of Appeal is a form used in California state courts when filing an appeal. It is used to itemize the costs that the appellant (person filing the appeal) has incurred in the appeal process. The form includes details such as the date the appeal was filed, the court in which the appeal was filed, the name of the appellant, the name of the respondent (person against whom the appeal is filed), and a list of costs incurred in the appeal process. It also includes a certification that the costs are reasonable and necessary. There are two types of California Memorandum of Costs of Appeal: Form APP-006 and Form APP-007. Form APP-006 is used for appeals from the superior court to the appellate court or the Supreme Court, while Form APP-007 is used for appeals from the appellate court or the Supreme Court to the Supreme Court.
