California Ignition Interlock Noncompliance Report is a document issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) when a driver has failed to comply with the terms of the Ignition Interlock Program. This document outlines the violations committed by the driver and the subsequent actions that must be taken by the DMV. The California Ignition Interlock Noncompliance Report includes the following information: Driver’s Name and License Number, Date of Violation, Violations Committed, and Recommended Actions. There are two types of California Ignition Interlock Noncompliance Reports: Form SR-22 and Form SR-22A. Form SR-22 is issued to drivers who have failed to comply with the terms of the Ignition Interlock Program and have been issued a suspension of their driver’s license. Form SR-22A is issued to drivers who have been convicted of a DUI and have been ordered to install an Ignition Interlock Device in their vehicle.
