The California Batterer Intervention Program (CBIP) Progress Report is an official document issued by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDC). It is used by probation officers, parole officers, and other criminal justice professionals to track the progress of individuals who have been court-ordered to attend a CBIP program. It contains information such as the participant’s demographic information, program completion status, and any incidents or violations of the program that have occurred. The report must be submitted to the court or other relevant authorities at the end of the program. There are two types of CBIP Progress Reports: the Initial Report and the Final Report. The Initial Report is submitted at the beginning of the program to provide an overview of the participant’s status and the Final Report is submitted at the end of the program to provide a final review of the participant’s progress.
