A Final Order Confirming Transfer — California Conservatorship Jurisdiction Act is a document issued by a court confirming the transfer of a conservatorship from one jurisdiction to another, usually within the state of California. This document is necessary in order for a conservator to take effect in the new jurisdiction and for the previous jurisdiction to relinquish any legal responsibilities it may have had for the conservator. There are two different types of Final Order Confirming Transfer — California Conservatorship Jurisdiction Act: an Order Confirming Transfer of Jurisdiction to California and an Order Confirming Transfer of Jurisdiction from California. The Order Confirming Transfer of Jurisdiction to California is used when a conservatorship is being moved from another state to California, while the Order Confirming Transfer of Jurisdiction from California is used when a conservatorship is being moved from California to another state. This document is legally binding and must be signed by the court in order to be valid.
