Does an Employer Have to Provide One? An employer is only sometimes required to provide an employment separation certificate. For instance, if a former employee asks for one, the employer needs to provide it. An employer also needs to provide it if Centrelink or another government agency request it.

If it has been less than 7 days since the sick employee used the facility, clean and disinfect all areas used by the sick employee following the CDC cleaning and disinfection recommendations. If it has been 7 days or more since the sick employee used the facility, additional cleaning and disinfection is not necessary.
