California Additional Children Attachment (CACA) is a program created by the California Department of Social Services (CDs) to provide additional financial assistance to families with children who are receiving California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (Gasworks) benefits. CACA provides an extra $100 to $250 per month for families with children who are eligible. The amount of money provided depends on the family size and income level. There are three types of CACA: Standard CACA, which is available to all families; Enhanced CACA, which is available to families with higher incomes; and Emergency CACA, which is available to families who experience an unanticipated increase in expenses.
