California Arbitrator Certification and Oath is a legal document that certifies an individual as an arbitrator in the state of California. The document must be signed and notarized in order to be legally binding and valid. The certificate includes the name of the arbitrator, the date of certification, and a statement that the individual is bound to carry out his/her duties in an ethical and impartial manner. The certificate also includes an oath in which the arbitrator swears to uphold the highest standards of arbitration in the state of California. There are two types of California Arbitrator Certification and Oath: the Judicial Arbitration Certification and Oath and the Private Arbitrator Certification and Oath. The Judicial Arbitration Certification and Oath is for individuals who have been appointed by a court to serve as an arbitrator in a judicial dispute resolution process.
