California Case Management (Request For Voluntary Family Centered Case Resolution (FCC)) is a program that provides families with resources and support to better address their challenges and help them achieve successful resolution of their family conflict. FCC offers a voluntary, family-centered approach to conflict resolution which includes an assessment of the family’s strengths and needs, intervention planning, and follow-up. This program is designed to help families resolve disputes in a safe, respectful, and meaningful way. There are three types of California Case Management (Request For Voluntary Family Centered Case Resolution (FCC)): Facilitative Model, Mediation Model, and Coaching Model. The Facilitative Model involves a trained mediator who works with the family to help them identify and resolve their issues. The Mediation Model uses a neutral third party to help the family find common ground and reach an agreement. The Coaching Model helps the family make decisions and develop strategies for improving communication and resolving conflict.
