The Colorado Notice of Chapter 13 Fee Application is a document that is filed by a Chapter 13 debtor to request approval from the court for attorney's fees in a chapter 13 bankruptcy case. The Notice of Fee Application contains information about the debtor’s attorney’s fees, including the amount requested and how those fees were calculated. The Notice of Fee Application must be accompanied by documentation showing the services provided and the reasonable value of those services. There are three types of Colorado Notice of Chapter 13 Fee Applications: the Initial Application, the Interim Application, and the Final Application. The Initial Application is filed when the Chapter 13 case is filed and serves as the initial request for attorney's fees. The Interim Application is filed during the course of the case when additional attorney's fees are sought. Finally, the Final Application is filed at the conclusion of the Chapter 13 case and serves as the final request for attorney's fees.
