Connecticut Consents to Electronic Notice by Self-represented Litigant is a form that self-represented litigants in the State of Connecticut may use to consent to receive legal notices electronically. The consent form allows litigants to provide their electronic address and agree to receive all court notices, pleadings, orders, and other documents via email. It also allows them to designate a third party to receive all electronic notices, such as an attorney or friend. There are two versions of the form: Connecticut Consents to Electronic Notice by Self-represented Litigant for Non-Domestic Relations Cases and Connecticut Consents to Electronic Notice by Self-represented Litigant for Domestic Relations Cases. Both forms must be signed by the litigant, and the Domestic Relations form must also be signed by the other party involved in the case. By signing the form, the litigant agrees to receive all notices by email and to keep the court informed of any changes to their email address.
