The Connecticut Interstate Compact For Juveniles/Take Into Custody Application and Order/Non-Delinquent Runaway is a form used to request a juvenile be taken into custody if they have left their home without permission. It is used when the juvenile is not accused of a crime, but has instead run away from his/her residence. The form is used by the child's parent/guardian or caseworker and submitted to the Connecticut Department of Children and Families. There are three types of Connecticut Interstate Compact For Juveniles/Take Into Custody Application and Order/Non-Delinquent Runaway: 1. Interstate Compact Take Into Custody Application and Order — This form is used to request a juvenile be taken into custody and transported to another state for placement. 2. Non-Delinquent Runaway — This form is used to request a juvenile be taken into custody and transported to his/her home state for placement. 3. Interstate Compact Transfer of Jurisdiction — This form is used to request a juvenile be taken into custody and transported to the receiving state for placement.
