Connecticut Rehabilitation Request (CRR) is a formal request made by a person, organization, or business to the Connecticut Department of Social Services (DSS) for financial assistance in order to cover the costs associated with necessary rehabilitation services. The CRR is the first step in the process of obtaining financial assistance from DSS and can be used for a variety of rehabilitation services, such as physical rehabilitation, mental health rehabilitation, and substance abuse rehabilitation. There are two types of Cars: Medicaid and Non-Medicaid. The Medicaid CRR is for individuals who meet the income requirements to qualify for Medicaid and is used to apply for the Medicaid rehabilitation and related services. The Non-Medicaid CRR is for individuals who do not meet the income requirements to qualify for Medicaid and is used to apply for other rehabilitation services.
